18th C. Figure of the infant of prague. French or Italian with glass eyes. This would have been dressed for different festivals and special occasions. This would be wonderful displayed for his sculptural quality just a s a figure alone, or you could use to hand jewelry and such upon him. A very wonderful display piece. 
The people who created these santos piece truly felt and believed they were called to create these as symbols of heaven on earth. The art quality in them you truly can see. All handmade and not manufactured. Each piece carries its own spiritual quality. Making them very much like people with a soul.
