Antique Pair of Gorgeous French Bronze Bust. With the most gorgeous intricate details and beautiful deisgn you will fall in love with this pair. 1860-1870s No foundry marks. French nepolian the 3rd. The Woman -31 1/2 inches tall 6 inches deep at the deppest part. 31 1/4 inches tall 5 1/2 inches deep at deepest part. They are expertly chased and beautifully hammered, 1860-1870s. On the male statue 14 1/2 inches down there is a very small hairline crack where the joint of the bronzes were hot joined together, it hasn't been repaired nor welded and is still molded together, a very fine hairline and truly not an issue. Thank you for your patients, and I hope this information is helpful to you when making a decision on purchasing these pieces. They are exquisite, and I adore the facial features on them both. I adore the sultry eyes on her, appearing to have just had a great time. She is partially nude with her breast exposed. These are very fine and beautiful. They would look stunning in any home. Very rare to find the set!
