To protect his heart, and to keep himself from going completely insane, he was allowing her to become a distant memory. Her name was never to be spoken. Her belongings had all been given away. It was if she had never existed. The only object he kept was the necklace that he would have given her, the night she disappeared. It was a gift for their first anniversary, as was the trip to Paris. And as the beautiful cameo that he had commissioned just for her, lay tucked away in a locked drawer, the silhouette was fading. It's ghostly image, growing more faint by the day. Soon, it would be lost forever. Only his thoughts of her could bring it back. That or her safe return. And when he could bear it no more, he took the necklace from it's hiding place, and gently caressed the image of her. And halfway around the world, she began to remember. Images of a man. Her husband. A thief who had robbed her, taken her purse, and also her memory as he knocked her to the ground. It was all coming back.... A dark grey cameo carved into glass, and placed in an ornate silvertone setting hangs from a 18" silvertone cable chain. Next to it a 3" vintage skeleton key. And last, a 2", vintage religious medallion, of St. Anne. As always, this necklace is ONE OF A KIND.
